About me

You will find below an overview of my journey and my main fields of practice, as well as the different approaches to which I have been trained. As many studies demonstrate, the quality of the relationship between patient and therapist is crucial for an efficient psychological counseling, regardless of the therapeutic orientation. It is therefore important that you feel at ease with me as your therapist during your therapeutic journey.

My approach
Passionate about my job, I adopt a holistic approach of the individual and consider the human being in its entirety (mind-body). I strive to adapt to the specific needs of each individual using an integrative approach. Therefore, I work with tools and concepts from different psychological perspectives (systemic, cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as other specializations) in order to meet my patients expectations. Keeping in mind the importance of the body-mind bond, I pay specific attention to the lifestyle of my patients, namely: nutrition, eventual sport practice, spiritual life (if applicable) and any other activities that enhance well-being, from a physiological and psychological perspective.

My journey
My academic journey began at the University of Lausanne with a bachelor degree in psychology and political science, followed by a Master degree in clinical psychology and psychopathology. Since then, I have completed several postgraduate programs (see below), all recognized by their respective international institutes.

Gifted – High Potential individuals
Before starting my studies in psychology, I developed a sustained interest for exceptionally gifted individuals (high intellectual potential). I studied this characteristic in-depth and regularly work with people who would like to have a better understanding of this aspect of their functioning.

Sexology
Sexual health is for me essential to the wellbeing of individuals. I trained two years in Zurich in the Sexocorporal approach, a sex therapy in which the body plays a central role. Sexuality is considered the result of a learning process, and particular attention is given to the links between body, emotions and cognitions.

Trauma
My research linked to attachment issues led me to follow a training in lifespan integration therapy (LI), a therapeutic method which stems from researches in neuroscience and aims to facilitate neuronal integration. It’s indicated for the treatment of trauma, abuse and neglect during childhood, but also adapted for food disorders, addictions, anxiety disorder, depression and attachment issues.
